Hair Bare consultation & patch test

Our hair removal treatment will treat all hair & skin types but it is the downy vellus hair which responds best to treatment giving long term hair reduction and a slowdown of the hair growth.

It is an alkaline product containing calcium thioglycolate as an active ingredient. The product raises the PH of the skin and by doing so it breaks down the protein in the hair causing the hair to dissolve and then be removed away.

Treatment can be taken as a course of 6 or 12 sessions with the option of further top ups if necessary. Treatments should be 14 days apart for the first 3 treatments, then every 3 weeks until the end of the course.

As a bonus the treatment exfoliates the skin as well as removing the hair, which makes the skin smoother, softer and clearer. It can also help lighten pigmentation and calm acne.

PRP Skin Rejuvenation Consultation

Studies have shown that PRP can expedite the healing process of tissues and reduce the appearance of pigmentation and acne scarring when used with microneedling. PRP treatment involves using the patient’s own blood as a resource to isolate the platelets with a centrifuge. Because the blood is directly from the patient, the risks of the body rejecting the plasma or having an allergic reaction are minimal. 

By using Injections & needling as the supplemental delivery method for the PRP, the two treatments work synergistically which leads to more rapid collagen production. Results can vary based on a number of factors including needle penetration, overall skin health, number of passes and treatments received as well as needle size. Patients will be able to note a youthful radiance and tightening of their skin directly following microneedling with PRP but it is recommended to receive 4-6 treatments 4 weeks apart to maintain collagen production and to optimise their skin rejuvenation.
