Really good session with Sophia.  An initial assessment and discussion to establish what was needed and an effective sports massage, which really worked out the stiffness and tightness in my legs.  It was also useful to talk through some options for my ongoing achilles issues and she had some good suggestions.  Would be very happy to book Sophia's services again, and recommend them to others.

The main treatment will use a range of different techniques focusing on the areas identified in the consultation. I will check that the pressure is OK throughout and please say if you're too hot / cold or want a change to the music!

Some people like to wear shorts when having treatment on their legs but it is completely up to you.

Sports Massage

A deep tissue massage using only passive techniques to focus on relaxation. 60 minutes back, neck and shoulders. The massage will still be tailored to your problem areas following a short consultation.

Cups will be applied to an agreed area and I can then manually massage another area whilst they are working their magic! Cups will be applied statically and then a range of techniques can also be used. I will guide you through these and discuss the treatment plan at the start to ensure that you are happy.

CUPPING WILL RESULT IN LARGE MARKS LASTING UP TO 30 DAYS.

A 60 minute full body massage using light massage techniques focusing on relaxation to reduce stress and swelling particularly on the arms and legs. Comes with numerous benefits for mum and baby including reducing discomfort, increasing blood circulation and lymphatic drainage.

The majority of treatment is done side lying to avoid laying flat. 

For insurance purposes clients must be past their first tri-mester and have had agreement from their midwife that it is safe to receive massage treatment.
