Soak/Prep and Acrygel

Removal of previous product to prepare nails for either buff and shine or new nail treatment. When done professionally it encourages stronger nails that will grow longer and harder.

Soak/Buff Prep 

Acrygel overlay is slightly harder and thicker than traditional gel. Acrygel is powder polymer added between layers of gel. As a material, Acrygel is flexible like gel, but more durable. The gel polish acts as an overlay on the nail that lasts for at least two weeks (but often with acrygel four weeks). The result is high shine nails with no chipping, peeling, or cracking.

What is Gel Nails? Quick science lesson: Gels are a combination of a liquid monomer and a liquid polymer that form a polish consistency which is applied to the natural nail and requires a  LED light to cure the polish and lock it onto your nails. 

What is Acrylic Nails? Quick science lesson: Acrylics are a combination of a liquid monomer and a powder polymer that form a paste which is bonded to the natural nail. It's then given the desired shape, where it hardens in place to add strength, and thickness to the nail.

Gel Tips add length to your nails just like regular press-on nails. Plus they are as strong and as long lasting as regular acrylics. And, because they don't involve the powder or monomer application they are applied much faster than acrylic. They are as strong as acrylic yet very flexible and thin, even with the gel colour overlays (which are included) on top.

Gel Tips incl Gel Overlays 

Acrylic nails are attached to the nails and their manicure technique involves the application of primer or glue like substance initially on the nails. Then an artificial acrylic nail is put on top of the existing nail. Then a powder polymer and a liquid monomer are used to build ontop of the nail. The nails are generally thicker and not very flexible. The curing time is generally slower for as compared to gel nails. If properly applied with the correct quantity, primers (with or without methacrylic acid) do not etch or damage the nail bed.

Acrylic Tips (natural or french in colour)

Acrylic nails are attached to the nails and their manicure technique involves the application of primer or glue like substance initially on the nails. Then an artificial acrylic nail is put on top of the existing nail. The curing time is generally slower for as compared to gel nails. If properly applied with the correct quantity, primers (with or without methacrylic acid) do not etch or damage the nail bed. 
Adding gel on top allows for different colours as well as more durability.

A pedicure is a comprehensive treatment of your feet and is suitable for both men and women. It involves cutting, trimming and shaping your toenails, tending to your cuticles, exfoliating, hydrating and massaging your feet, and gel overlays on your toenails.

Gel Pedicure

Your nails will be cut, filed, and shaped. You will then have your cuticles pushed back and tidied, and then enjoy a hand massage. The final step will be the gel overlay on your own nails 

Gel Manicure

A pedicure is a comprehensive treatment of your feet and is suitable for both men and women. It involves cutting, trimming and shaping your toenails, tending to your cuticles, exfoliating, hydrating and massaging your feet incl nail buff and shine, and, if desired, painting your toenails with nail polish you provide.

Pedicure incl clear buff and shine (bring your own nail polish if you would like colour)

Your nails will be cut, filed, and shaped. You will then have your cuticles pushed back and tidied, and then enjoy a hand massage. The final step will be the painting of the nails with a nail polish colour you bring with you.
