This is a FIRM massage style using slow, deep strokes and sustained pressure to target the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues.

As it is such a deep massage, you may feel achey (in a similar way to after a gym work out) for a day or two after, this will ease and shouldn't cause concern.

Some benefits of deep tissue massage include: 
 
Relieving pain: Deep tissue massages can help relieve pain and stiffness. 
 
Improving circulation: Deep tissue massages can improve circulation to reduce swelling and fluid buildup around an injury. 
 
Speeding up healing: Deep tissue massages can help speed up healing of muscle strains and sprains. 
 
Restoring range of motion: Deep tissue massages can help restore range of motion. 
 
Breaking up scar tissue: Deep tissue massages can help break up scar tissue, which can improve flexibility and range of motion. 

Deep Tissue Massage

If you are very tense and knotted in one or two areas and are NOT looking for a full body massage, 60 minutes will be plenty of time to work on your problem area.

This works for a full body massage if you have no problem areas and are looking for full body maintenance.

If you have a couple of problem areas, this works for a half body

 Deep Tissue Full Body / Half body Massage

If your body is very knotted and tense in multiple areas, this is the perfect length of appointment. 

2 hours gives plenty of time for a full body massage that also targets problem areas

Full Body Deep Tissue Massage - 2 Hours

A soothing, pampering massage that will help your mind and body relax. 

The perfect way to disconnect from busy life and the stress of the day.

This is a gentle-touch massage which helps to relieve stress and sore muscles. The technique uses  long, smooth strokes, kneading and circular movements. Finishing with light tapotement to help wake the body towards the end of the massage.

Hot Stone Relaxation - 90 mins

A signature blend using Swedish techniques, nerve stroking and gentle compressions to lower your heart rate, slow your breathing, and reduce blood pressure. Oxytocin and Serotonin which actively improves mood and lifts anxiety.

The Outcome: Relaxation, rest and a calmed mind

Body Zones: Back, neck, shoulders (optional scalp massage)

Expect:  a silent massage therapist, calming music with relaxing water sounds, low lighting and cosy, warm massage table.

(Add on a warming eye mask for an extra £3 - make sure you're not wearing contacts if you decide on that though!)
