Sports Massage is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments. It is applicable not just to sports people but to anybody wishing to guard against or recover from a soft tissue injury.

This will involve a full case history, assessment and treatment using acupuncture and other techniques.

During the case history you will be asked about your complaint, your medical history and some questions about your lifestyle.

The assessment will involve the practitioner looking and assessing the areas of pain/discomfort. A few tests will help determine the cause of the pain.

During treatment the practitioner will be using acupuncture needles, plus a variety of soft tissue and mobilisation techniques to ease your pain/discomfort.
