Weft Install (Braidless Method)

This maintenance service is ideal for clients whose weft can be comfortably slid up behind the bead without needing a full re-sew.

🔁 This appointment includes:
- Beads gently opened
- Weft track slid up toward the scalp
- Beads re-tightened to secure the weft
- No removal or re-sewing of the track

📅 Timing Guidelines:
- Best suited for clients in their first 2–3 tightenings
- Typically booked 4–6 weeks after installation
- Wear and hair growth will determine eligibility

⚠️ Please Note:
- If the weft cannot be slid up or beads are worn/damaged (e.g., changing color or losing grip), a Complex Tightening or New Install is required.
- This service cannot be performed if matting or excessive slipping is present.



Simple Weft Tightening

This service is designed for clients who may not qualify for a standard tightening and need more intensive maintenance to keep their weft secure and comfortable.

🔁 This appointment includes:
1. Weft removal (un-sewn)
2. Beads opened without full removal
3. Scalp area brushed out to remove any buildup
4. Beads re-secured close to the root
5. Weft re-sewn into place

⚠️ Important Notes:
- Beads can only be re-tightened if they're still in good condition. Aluminum beads typically allow for 2–3 reuses before replacing the beads. If beads are compromised, a new install must be booked.
- If any matting is present, a full new installation will be required to safely reset your extensions.
- Ideal for clients unsure if a standard tighten will suffice or when sliding the weft is no longer possible. This service provides enough time for necessary adjustments.

Duration: 30 minutes
Investment: $49 (includes $25 credit toward hair order)

Not local? On the waitlist? Book a 1:1 virtual consult with Sarah to review your hair goals and lifestyle, assess your natural hair, and get a professional colour match — all from the comfort of your home.

📸 Clients must email clear, natural-light photos of their current hair (front, back, and sides) along with any inspiration pictures to **sarah@sewhair.ca** at least 24 hours before the consult.  

💡 Virtual matches are based on lighting and photo quality. While most clients are matched perfectly, hair orders are subject to brands that may facilitate an exchange (if needed), and delays may occur if the shade requires adjustment.  

💲This consultation is $49; however, **$25 will be credited back** toward your extension order if you proceed with a purchase.
