Shirodhara: Sacred Oil Meditation

A unique Ayurvedic therapy, not found in other alternative health systems.  It was once reserved only for Maharajahs, so this is indeed a ‘royal’ treatment.  Shirodhara involves the gentle pouring of sesame oil over the forehead, carried out as a set of patterns.

This warm oil has the sensation of the caress of a fragrant and warm breeze, soothing away mental aches and pains. The rhythmic and gentle flow makes you float into a world of tranquility and peace, similar to a deep meditation.

Shirodhara - Nervous System Reset

The treatment aims to reduce SACRO LUMBAR AREA stiffness. Deep muscle relaxation is achieved by the warm medicated oil application, contributing to the improvement of lower back & pelvic pain including conditions such as I.B.S, menstrual pain and chronic U.T.Is. 

Kati Basti - Lower Back Warm Oil treatment 

Hot medicated oil is kept over the NAVEL AREA, known as nahbi, our emotional centre. This treatment aims to nourish and balance the female reproductive system, nervous system and to soothe muscular tension that can be impacting healthy digestion. 

Nabhi Basti - Pelvic Nourishment

The facials begins with a double cleanse. This ensures all of the bacteria and dirt is removed. The first cleanse is done with a oil base massage. 

The second step is steam warm towels infused with organic rosewater to remove the oil.  Then it begins a deep facial massage. This helps get the blood circulating and gets rid of the dead and dry skin on the surface. The facial massage also helps alleviate migraines and jaw pain. 

Then exfoliation, with a gentle powder (nothing too abrasive), and finally the application of the most suited clay base mask. While the product is being activated,  you receive a scalp massage, neck, hands, and feet. 

To finalize we apply the facial tonic and a serum most appropriate to your skin type.

Our aim is to nourish, support, and comfort the mother to be in a nurturing environment, giving her the time to relax and enjoy her experience. 

Our treatment includes a foot bath, head massage and full body oil massage. Our certified pregnancy massage therapist use Ayurvedic oils suitable during pregnancy. The treatment can be adjusted to suit your unique needs. 

The pregnancy massage helps to bring balance to Vata dosha, the most highly recommended Ayurvedic tip when pregnant to support a smooth delivery. 



90 min - Pregnancy Massage

Use of powder made of herbs in body massage is called Udvartana. The word “Udvartana” refers to elevation and upward strokes during massage. Dry herbal herbal powders or herbal paste prepared with medicated oils is used in this massage.

The main benefit of the Udvartana is to remove toxins through the skin. However, ayurvedic doctors mainly recommend it for reducing excess cellulite and fat accumulated under the skin. It also tones the skin and provides strength to the body. Other benefits include improvement in skin complexion, skin exfoliation, stress relief and relaxation.

90 min  - Powder Massage (Lymphatic activation) 

Vital energy points, called marmas are stimulated through the body to promote rebalancing of body and mind. When these points are pressed, they are thought to activate a passage to the inner self.

The Vedic scripture tells us the body encompasses a total of 107 marma points, each serving a specific purpose, with its individual name and exclusive massage technique. 

These physical marma points are positioned at the convergence of tendons, bones, muscles, joints, veins, nerves, and other tissues. The choice of Ayurvedic herbal massage oils is determined by an individual’s Ayurvedic dosha type.

Ayurvedic treatments work by engaging and resetting all Five Senses. During the massage a healing mantra is chanted by the practitioner, the vibration and sound of this ancient sound helps to still an active mind.
