Fascia is a silvery web like tissue that is threaded throughout the body, every muscle, organ bone and even nerves contain or are enveloped by fascia. It contains collagen fibres and fibroblasts (cells).  It was initially thought that fascia was this lifeless membrane giving form and structure to each body part it envelops, but recent scientific research has proved that there is intelligence in our fascia, it contains five times as many sensory nerves as your muscle, its made up of 70% water, thus the importance of hydration in order for your fascia to recover.
