It is highly recommended to book a “patch test” before getting a lamination done, to see if you have an allergy or sensitivity to the solutions. Although rare, it is possible. We don’t want to take the risk when dealing with your face! 
In order to rule this out, please book the patch test at least a week before your lamination appointment.
By day 3 after your “patch test”, if you have noticed ANY of the following please cancel your lamination appointment before the 48 hour cancellation window, as you are sensitive/allergic to the solution:
- Discolouration (pink/red)
- Raised/swollen skin
- Itchiness
- Dry skin
- Hives/bumps
- Blisters

A “Patch Test” entails putting all of the solutions used in the lamination service on the inside of your forearm. The solution will be left on for 5-7 minutes in the shop and you will be sent home. For the next 3 days you will keep an eye on the area.
