This treatment consists of depositing a mixture of phosphatidylcholine, deoxycholate, and e.g. L-carnitine or organic silica into the fatty tissue.  PPC phosphatidylcholine is a natural component of our body - lecithin.  In medicine, it has been used for a long time in treating fatty congestion or reducing lipids in the blood.  Phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate are administered into the fatty tissue, causing the breakdown of triglycerides after the destruction of fat cells.  L-carnitine accelerates fat metabolism.

•Mild to moderate edema may occur and the client may want to sleep with his/her head elevated.
•Hyper-pigmentation is a complication with darker Fitzpatrick skin types, and should resolve within six months, although it may be permanent, so peel selection and application are very important.
