Hi, I’m Kate! I’m a qualified Nail Technician with a background in art. I love getting creative with nail designs and offer an array of different treatments including - Gel polish, BIAB,  Hema free products, Extensions & hand massage if you’re feeling luxurious!
I’m really passionate about the health of my clients natural nails and love helping people on their nail growth journeys. I’m also always researching nail care products to provide the best for my clients. I’m currently building my Hema free collection for all those with allergies. BIAB stands for Builder in a Bottle. It is a gel-like polish, which is applied as an overlay on your natural nails and can be used for small extensions. It works very similarly to a normal gel polish, but it has a thicker consistency and dries as a strong, durable layer, lasting up to 3 weeks (sometimes longer) if looked after well. Perfect for those with thinner nails and/or trying to grow their natural nails. 

Includes nail reshaping, cuticle treatment, infill of BIAB, cuticle oil and/or hand cream.

Hema is hydroxyethyl methacrylate which are monomers used to polymerise the gel polish. Hema is considered the number 1 allergen in nail and cosmetic products, so removing it from Gel products grants nail techs the ability to perform nail services on clients who have shown signs of an allergy.

Removal of old product through soaking with acetone, followed by nail shaping, cuticle tidy up and application of fresh BIAB. Cuticle oil and/or hand cream optional.

Removal

Add a bit of luxury to your treatment with a hand massage. The aim is to relieve tension by loosening contracted muscles and leave you feeling relaxed. I have a choice of some lovely smelling massage lotions that will leave your skin feeling silky smooth. 

Hand massage

Gel polish is a more durable alternative to regular nail polish. It gives a glossier finish and is less likely to chip. 
 
Includes nail shaping, cuticle treatment, gel polish, cuticle oil and/or hand cream.
