Therapeutic Massage 45mins

I combine different methods into one tailor-made, bespoke treatment to suit your needs and massage preferences. Drawing from a combination of Hot and cold stones, Warm Bamboo, Indian Head Massage, Sports Massage and specialist therapies including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, deep oscillation, scar therapy and myofascial release. Pre surgery MLD and Deep Oscillation

Specialist treatment combining MLD and scar therapy.  MLD is used to control swelling that naturally occurs after surgery but can delay repair if allowed to linger for too long.  Scar therapy helps new scar tissue forms correctly and reduces adhesions which can be painful and affect movement patterns. Scar therapy can also improve the cosmetic appearance of scars.  Approx. 50min hands on time.

Post Surgery  MLD, Deep Oscillation and Scar therapy

For treatment of new and mature scars.  Improve the quality and function of scar tissue.  Scar therapy can help with cosmetic appearance, increase range of movement in stiff scars and reduce pain.  For any type of scars from burns, open surgeries and key hole surgeries.  Deep Oscillation is a gentle yet effective method of reducing fibrosis and improving healing.  You will be taught self care as part of the treatment.  Approx. 50min hands on time.

Scar Therapy and Deep Oscillation

You will recieve specialist treatment and advice on managing all aspects of lymphoedema and lipoedema.  

Manual lymphatic drainage is a very gentle and rhythmical form of massage designed to stimulate your lymphatic system. This massage is ideal for treating lymphoedema and lipoedema, stimulating your immune system if you constantly feel run down or suffer from conditions such as migraines and sinusitis.  Used with Deep Oscillation and lymph taping where appropriate.   Approx. 50min hands on time.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage - Lymph/lipoedema Management 

If you are needing MLD after a surgery, please book a Post Surgery MLD and Scar therapy session.  
This longer session is for initial consultations if you feel that you will need a longer time for a differential diagnosis or measuring for compression garments. The session will also include MLD.  The price also includes time to writing to GP's and pharmacists to order compression garments.

Consultation/compression measurement and MLD- Lymph/lipoedema Management 

For those who are currently having or have recently received treatment for cancer. This session includes time to discuss your current health, your cancer treatment and your goals for massage.  Treatment may include use of Deep Oscillation, hot stones, Indian head massage, Scar Therapy... whatever your body needs. 

Oncology Massage 

Specialist massage for women from 14 weeks pregnant.  Massage is performed in the side lying position using extra bolsters and pillows to make you comfortable, safe and relaxed.  This massage can help with leg cramps, morning sickness, swelling, back pain, anxiety and depression.   Approx. 50min hands on time.
