Reiki is a form of hands-on therapy commonly referred to as energy healing. Reiki has been around for thousands of years, it's current form was first founded in Japan in the early 20th Century by Tendai Buddhist Mikao Usui. The founding principle of Reiki is that everything in existence has energy known as Ki which gives fuel to life through an unlimited potential of flow and sustenance. Energy (Ki) can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or possibly emotional pain. When Ki is blocked or unable to be in its state of flow we feel unwell, dissatisfied and self destructive. Reiki is a method to re-balance Ki and support the natural flow of universal energy in order for self development to flourish. Reiki works by having an attuned practitioner channel Reiki through their body and into (either direct or distant) another being for healing purposes.Reiki is non-invasive, safe and an effective healing practice. Since a young age, Cathy has been fascinated with the unexplained power of energy, this journey has subsequently brought her to Reiki; she became a student of this ancient practice and now is a certified Reiki practitioner. She has continued her education in Theta Basic (Certified in 2019) and in channeling. Cathy's purpose is to help others through re-balancing their energy, book a Reiki session to improve your well being.
