Been getting my hair cut by Ilker for a while now and he never disappoints. Great attention to detail, excellent fades, and always takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. One of the best barbers I’ve had in New York. Highly recommend.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

During my stay in New York, I decided to get my hair cut. Online, I found an independent hairdresser in Union Square. On the 12th floor of a historic building, I met Marianna and her assistant Annie in a small salon. The atmosphere was very pleasant, calm, with relaxing lounge music playing. Marianna was very focused and took great care and attention to detail with my haircut, which I love. Even after the first wash, my hair looks fantastic. (I never blow dry my hair). Thank you for this authentic New York experience.

It was my first time at Hayato. Although it looked a bit dated, the service was exactly what I was looking for. Great shampoo experience and Mina my hairdresser was a super Japanese stylist. She listened to what you wanted and then offered her opinion. Highly recommend for a true New York Japanese hair salon. Thank you!

What a great experience as usual. I went in for a cut and blowdry but after arriving I decided I'd like to get highlights as well. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. My highlights are very natural and so beautiful. The color she picked compliments my skin tone and natural hair perfectly. The haircut is gorgeous. Exactly what I asked for. Always receive great color, exactly what I ask for plus great recommendations. I have never left unhappy. They are also the fastest hair coloring I have ever received. Full head balayage plus roots - completely done and out the door in less than 1.5 hours. Everyone is extremely friendly, place is clean, and fair priced. I have yet to receive a hair cut, but expect they will do great job.

I have been a long-time customer of Masumi, and she is truly amazing. I have naturally frizzy, wavy hair that is very difficult to manage on my own, but Masumi always performs a total transformation. What I appreciate most is that she designs styles to last—she doesn't just focus on how it looks today, but how it will grow out. My highlights blend perfectly into my roots even months later! She is a master of everything: highlights, Japanese straight perms, and haircuts. Also, don’t miss out on her shampoo—her head massages are the best! I highly recommend her to anyone.

I got highlights and a dusting and Marianna did a beautiful job on my hair. I'm pretty picky about the color blonde I like and she nailed it. Efficient, kind, and incredibly reasonably priced. I am thrilled to have found Marianna Coiffure, will definitely be back!
