I had the most amazing experience with Candyce at Jamal Amal Hair Salon! In which from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She truly understands hair and took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering expert advice along the way. The end result was beyond my expectations. I recently visited Jamal Amal Salon to get my hair braided, and I had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and polite, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. They took their time to ensure my hair was styled perfectly, and the attention to detail was amazing.The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which made the entire process so relaxing. I left the salon feeling confident, refreshed, and absolutely loving my braids! It’s always such a joy to find a place where the service is top-notch and the people genuinely care about making you feel your best.

She was great. I will definitely return. My hair was in bad shape after braids and she gave me a nice cut and style that I'm comfortable with. Extremely patient. I didn't really know what I wanted, but she gave me the perfect style that looks good on me.

BLK had a Terrific experience. I was referred to my prior hair stylists. They both independently referred me to the same person. Jamal, and his assistant, did a great job with my hair. I can tell a person's professionalism by my experience in his environment and surrounding staff as well. Jamal was great and so was his assistant - I literally, did not lose any hair strands. None. Amazing. The hair wash was so relaxing....they worked my scalp well. The environment was wonderful. I am growing my nails back just so that I can be pampered more while getting my hair done by Jamal and his team.

I have been coming to see Bri since I moved to Jersey in May and I have 0 regrets!! She gives the best blowouts and recently she recommended a glaze to me. Before deciding, she educated my on the different types of glazes, tones, the benefits, & upkeep. Let me tell you… BEST DECISION EVER. It gave me the effects of a deep conditioner while making my hair look so much shinier and healthier. The best part is, it’s not nearly as expensive as hair dye.
