For about 2 years I’ve been going to the Roots Radicals salon in Williamsburg. I’ve always loved it. Yesterday, for logistical reasons, I went to their Danbury location. It was my first time there and the first time Kim cut my short, curly hair. I could not be happier with the results—or the experience. Kim really understood what I was after, she worked slowly and patiently, checked in with me frequently, and even conferred with my stylist in Brooklyn. Plus the salon was a serene place to be. I left with just the cut I wanted. I know I'll be back.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Elizabeth. From the moment I walked in, she was kind, caring, and incredibly patient. What really stood out to me was how thorough she was in evaluating my skin. She didn’t just give me a generic facial—she took the time to understand what my skin actually needed I noticed a difference immediately after my first facial. My skin looked healthier, smoother, and more refreshed. I go to her on a monthly basis and I have seen a tremendous turn around in the condition of my skin. Her space is always clean which I Appreciate.

I brought my 18 year old son in for a haircut and lesson on how to care for his curls. Kim was wonderful! She made him feel comfortable, asked pertinent questions and explained everything she was doing and why in just enough detail. Elizabeth is amazing. She is so talented and really knows her stuff! She worked really hard to make sure my lift and tint looked as good as it could with my thin, blonde lashes. She taught me a lot how to care for my skin better and I love the results. I can't wait to go back again!
