Donna was incredibly accommodating, kindly moving my appointment at the last minute. From the moment I arrived, I felt instantly at ease. The space is beautifully designed and so thoughtfully considered, creating an immediate sense of calm. My eyebrow wax and tint were exceptional—I absolutely loved Donna’s attention to detail. Very strong and firm massage, which is what I asked for. The only thing I noticed that could use improvement was that I was asked which essential oils I wanted for my massage but I could not smell the lavender which is what I chose. The other detail was that the towels used are very old and thin, it would give a much nicer impression if the towels were newer. The room was a little noisy and small but for the price the massage was very good and she was able to knead out all of the knots in my back and shoulders.

Such a beautiful experience from start to finish. I booked the 1-hour Focusing Massage with the Indian Head Massage & Hair Treatment, and it was exactly what I needed. The spa has such a peaceful, calming atmosphere, and my therapist (Palm is AMAZING!!) was absolutely wonderful. She listened to where I was holding tension and tailored the treatment perfectly. I left feeling completely relaxed, refreshed and genuinely looked after. Worth every cent, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Cairns! Thank you, Palm!

Donna is highly skilled and experienced in buccaneers massage. Donna put me at ease immediately and I can’t believe that after just one appointment felt tension release in my jaw and neck. Tension we carry around daily is difficult to identify and Donna’s work and care left me feeling lighter and more relaxed in this area than I have for a long time. Donna knows what she is doing, intuitive and responsive. I’ll be back. Thank you Donna.

Very relaxing. Not like the usual “busy” salons I have experienced in the past in Cairns. I felt like I was treated with dignity & respect. Every ingredient was explained to me. Sally was very thoughtful, asked me what tea I would like to drink during the foot spa session, & engaged in providing quality time with my feet, toes and lower limb massage. I will be returning to Serene Retreat when I am in Cairns again next. Serene Retreat is now my new chosen place of serenity for receiving an ultimate pedicure and massage.
