Clean piercings and the least pain afterwards I have ever had with a piercing. I will absolutely be back. 10/10.

I always leave this piercing studio with a positive experience! Paul and Sebastian have been incredibly kind and helpful with guidance on my piercings. Steph is amazing as well, and helped me with looking for great jewelry pieces that are suitable for me. All jewelry is sterilized with an autoclave. You can tell they care about your well-being to make sure your piercings are healing smoothly! And they’ve been patient and informative with my many questions. Best piercing studio in Queens, will keep coming back!

This is the best place to visit for first time piercing and to come everytime you want a new piercing. The piercers know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. On top of that they let you know if your body will react to the piercing you’re thinking of getting. If you body doesn’t have the right anatomy, they suggest different piercings that you would like !!!! I love this is shop and will always come back 100/10

The studio is immaculate! Absolutely love the cleanliness and vibe. The gentleman that greeted me and helped me choose the stud for nose piercing was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Paul, my piercer was amazing and so very kind. He was professional and friendly. The whole experience was quick and easy. I'm happy I decided to get a piercing here. I was in the process of writing an in-depth review and realized I was only allowed 600 words lol. I’ll keep it short — I had an amazing experience. I’ve had my nose pierced several times before and thought I knew what to expect, but True Expression honestly went far and above my expectations. From the gentleman at the front who was very attentive, and answered all my jewelry questions — to the piercer who did an amazing job. Everything was amazing. From the initial greeting coming in to the shop right down to the piercing experience itself. Extremely friendly and very professional staff. I’ve gotten so many piercings here and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. The team is helpful, informative, professional and I absolutely adore their work! I’ve had no complications with any of my piercings, and they work so well with my individual anatomy, to make sure I get the best piercing experience. The place is so clean and they’re super safe with covid procedures. They only let one person it and a time and they sanitized everything including the jewelry before doing the piercing. Sebastian did my tragus and he was so personable and knowledgeable and the piercing was completely painless. He talked me through everything including aftercare and was so friendly that I forgot that I was even nervous about the piercing. I’ve gotten pierced at all kinds of places in the past and you can tell the difference because they really function like a high-end professional piercing place here, loved it

Love this shop! So happy I found them. I have gotten 4 piercings here. They are extremely knowledgeable about how to pierce as well as where to pierce and what works best for your body. They also know about and have relationships with shops around the country and world. I'm moving to CA and they recommended shops and specific piercers to talk to for follow ups and jewelry changes. I cannot recommend them enough. Your money will be well spent here.

Sebastian was great! Although this was my second time getting my nipples pierced, it was the best experience I had. Hands down best place to get pierced in NYC/the east coast. I moved a few hours away and still came back just to get pierced here. For their costumer service, professionalism, and service they deserve a 5/5. The service and jewelry are a bit expensive but it’s definitely worth the money, they have cute selections and styles. I got my helix and flat done by Paul. He was amazing. He walked me through what was going to happen and made me very comfortable. The receptionist even guided me the anatomy of my ear to make sure that the piercings were fit for my ear. The piercings didn’t hurt at all and there isn’t any discomfort after either. Definitely would recommend to a family or friend.

I had so much fun getting my Helix Piercing. I was greeted by Steph and Sebastian at the front and the piercing was done by Sebastian. They are super super super super super clean there (think, doctor's office, but with style), and super super super friendly and answered every single question I had. I’m super pleased with my second experience with this studio! My first - septum piercing is gorgeous and was painless. This time I came to do double earlobes and wasn’t set on the third one. I got a great assistance from Paul suggesting me what would fit best for my ear anatomy. Sebastian was amazing! Very knowledgeable and he made the experience fun and pleasant! The cleanliness of the studio was stellar and he maintained a sterile workspace throughout the piercing. Expression piercing studio not only raises the bar but sets a gold standard for their craft. Do not even consider any place else, they are the best!!! Not to mention that five days after getting my nipple pierced I have felt zero pain, no bleeding, no soreness, not even a little bit. The studio is 100% nickel free, which means that there is no risk or concern for allergies! Five stars!

The piercing experience was easy, smooth, and comfortable. Any piercing is slightly painful but Paul is able to read people very well and talked me through the piercing so the pain was less noticeable. The studio was very clean and hygenic and made me feel less nervous about getting a piercing during a pandemic. Will definitely be returning here for more piercings.

After having had a painful navel piercing experience many years ago I thought I was gonna be in a lot of pain especially because I was piercing my navel again. I felt absolutely nothing compared to the first time. The place was extremely clean and professional. My piercing was sterilized prior to being inserted into my skin and they took their time with me. I had an absolutely amazing experience at true expression! Paul sat down with me before Sebastian took me to get my piercing and gave me a run down of everything including the aftercare. Both piercers answered any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable. Once Sebastian took me into the room he was able to make small talk with me that made me feel super comfortable and talked step by step through every process. The studio was also super clean and I’ve never experienced a studio that asks you to book follow up appoints so it just shows how much they care.

Very professional environment and staff. Heavy attention paid towards sterilization and education before any actual activity. Staff is very supportive during entire session helping walk through anxiety and nervousness ensuring comfort and calm mind at time of procedure.
