Carole came to my rescue when I hurt my back. She fitted me in last minute and worked miracles. I went in with my body completely wonky and so much pain, came out with almost normal posture and so much less pain! Wish we’d had before and after photos. Thank you so much Carole.

I have Parkinson’s disease. Carol is absolutely brilliant. Kind, supportive and very skilled. Had the most wonderful massage today. Stiffness and tightness in muscles was greatly relieved. Carol has a holistic approach which soothes body and mind. I always feel so relaxed during treatment. Can’t recommend her enough!

After quite the week and a very long car journey, the hour with Carole was just what I needed. Cozy, grounding, calm and a true “note to self” Look after you body and soul - Carole, I always say this and I will continue to do so; you have an extra sense in knowing just what I need. It's always a pleasure to be back at the Riverside Rooms for a treatment with Touching Lives. As soon as I walk down the steps and through the gate my whole body feels calmer and less tense simply knowing that Carole is about to give me yet another fantastically relaxing treatment! Today's 1.5 hour session was a combination of body massage, facial massage and reflexology, after which I relaxed for a while in the garden finishing my homemade turmeric, ginger and black pepper tea whilst being entertained by lovely Luna (her dog). Why oh why aren't Carole's treatments available on the NHS?!

I have had massages before with Carol and they have always been wonderful. A lovely relaxing and comfortable treatment area and surroundings. The massage was a whole body sensory experience, and if I was a cat I would have been purring throughout the treatment!

Have known and visited Carole for almost 13 years! Each treatment I have with Carole is unique and attune with what my body needs at that moment in time- you won’t get a ‘one massage fits all’ here. The garden looks especially beautiful this summer and I felt at ease and could take deep breaths, feeling the stress melting away the moment I walked into her garden- a mini haven. Thank you!

From her warm welcome in the serene garden to the delightful pot of herb tea at the end, my whole experience with Carole was superlative. The best hot stone massage I’ve ever had, I could tell Carole was both highly skilled and working intuitively to find exactly what my jet lagged body needed. If I didn’t live 5000 miles away, I would be booking in every week.

It’s been a while since I have visited Carole- Touching Lives for a treatment but I’ve been to quite a few spa days and places where I’ve had hotel treatments over the months. None of them compare to Carole’s treatments. I used the word “magical” last night. My body literally tingled all over, where I was in a state of peace the whole time. I had reflexology followed by a face massage. From top to toe, it was blissful. It was like being on cloud nine for the evening.

What a treat it is to visit Carole! She has a way of working with her hands that relieves your body of all tension & knots. I felt like I left the riverside rooms floating on a cloud ☺️
