I went for a clean, natural look, and Maggie (the stylist) helped me pull it off. I will be back in this place for my future events! One point of improvement for Art and Technique would be to add a reminder for this service (Hair + Makeup updo) that encourages us, customers, to bring our own makeup if preferred. Also mention that mascara, lip products, and false eyelashes (optional) might not be provided in this service unless we bring our own products. Definitely recommend Art and Technique Oshawa!

I just moved to Oshawa ( nearby town to Whitby) and I needed to find a new salon. Was very nervous finding a new stylist. Found this place based on some great reviews not to far from where I live . Melanie cut my hair and did a fantastic colour. The salon is cute and everyone working there are so nice made me feel welcome as if I am regular. Will be coming back soon for root touch up and trims. I am so glad I found this place. Prices are mid to high range however you can tell the quality of products is top notch including the mastery of the stylists ! thank you so much !

Angel did an amazing job on my daughter’s lightweight crochet style! The hair feels so soft and light, which makes it perfect for her age and super comfortable to wear. The install is neat, secure, and not bulky at all. The parts are clean, the braids are flawless, and the curls flow beautifully. Most importantly, my daughter loves it and hasn’t complained once about it feeling heavy. We’ve already received so many compliments! Angel is talented, gentle, and truly pays attention to detail. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back! 💕

It’s a nice and intimate salon setting. My hair looks great and my stylist cut and styled my hair the way I like it (leaving it curly. I don’t really care for fancy blow dry). Also recommended good hair products for me to be able to maintain my curls.

Andre is a magician!!y husband went in with a horrible mop of quarantine hair, he needs a cut every month at minimum, it was bad. Andre had his work cut out for him but he did a great job! It looks amazing. The fade is perfect, the texturizing of his hair is wonderful, a great, stylish and manageable cut. I have my handsome hubby back!

This was my first time going to Hannah. A lot of stylists seem to struggle with my hair and/or give me negative feedback because of the dry texture. Hannah was lovely - she only gave me positive feedback and the end result is amazing. The best colour I have had in a very very very long time!!

My mother (88 y.o.) had a perm and cut with Melanie. She was terrific in her manner with my mom and did a great job. This was mom's first outing after Covid and the experience was very positive. Mom was thrilled with her new look. I saw Andre and he did magic on my Covid hair. I had my drugstore color stripped off and he picked out a lighter color for me. I then had a great cut (shaping mostly, not too much off the length). Andre has a good eye and ensured I left with a new style which I'm happy with. The salon atmosphere is calm. Goodother than trying to get into the building with the front entrance being closed. Contract worker got me an umbrella from inside and I walked around to the other entrance only to find I had to call to get in. I have no cell phone but luckily a resident was going in. I explained my problem so she let me enter with her. I wish when I booked the appointment I was told this as I could have told them to have someone meet me at the entrance at 10.
