It was lovely to meet Skye while we were visiting Mackay. She gave a lovely curly kids cut to my 11 year old daughter, sharing her knowledge on how to take care of young hair. My daughter is very happy with her new hair.

The best hairdresser in Mackay. I have always struggled with my hair because not a lot of people know how to treat curly hair. My hair feels amazing thank you so much. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. All the staff are lovely best experience I have ever had.

Hey there! I had an amazing experience at the salon today. The girls there are super friendly, especially Sky, my stylist. I showed her a pic of the hairstyle I wanted, and she totally nailed it! I feel like I've turned back time by ten years! She also gave me some great tips on how to care for my curly hair and how to style it after chemo. And to top it all off, Emma gave me an incredible massage. Her hands are magic! Big thanks to these ladies for making my day!🌻🙏

Highly recommend. This was my first time at Avaia Hair, had a style cut from long to a shorter hairstyle by Rochelle who did an absolutely amazing job. Loved the little complimentary welcome shoulder massage too. Will definitely be back.

So relaxing, lovely little neck massage to start the appointment off. had the nice quiet kids salon downstairs with my baby and sister so lots of space to do all the baby things and eat lunch. Had a delicious rinse and toner in the massage chair and of course enjoyed a nice little snooze whilst getting powered in the massage chair. Hair looks great

Excellent service and my 3 year old was comfortable while getting her hair cut. There is a great kids area and all the staff are welcoming
