Highly recommend Dylan! My hair was in the worst, over-processed state that it had been in decades, as I recently left my stylist back home to come to Toronto. Dylan took the time to talk to me, thoroughly assess the damage, discuss options, but also was willing to let me make the decision. As I’ve been coloring my hair for decades, I knew I needed to listen to him and it turned out so lovely! He also taught me how to use a product (that he’s doesn’t sell) to help repair. And the blow-out was so good! His building is undergoing some issues but don’t let that dissuade you! 👍👍

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Dimitrios for two years now, and today reminded me why I keep coming back. He walked me through my head shape and explained exactly why the cut works for me. That level of detail, skill and intention is rare. His creativity, professionalism and consistency make him one of the best barbers in Toronto, if not the best. Every visit is an enjoyable experience, and I always leave feeling confident and taken care of. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience from arrival to departure. My stylist was friendly, professional and provided a great blowout. Craig, the manager, was very helpful - even taking time out to provide me with some excellent local restaurant recommendations (to dive as a local might). All this from a hair appt made in a hurry while visiting Toronto for biz and personal time. Could not recommend this place more highly!

I always have such a lovely experience with Kara, she really takes the time during the consult to talk through exactly what you want for your hair. I'd go to the moon if that's where Ellen set up shop, thankfully, The Borough Project is right here in Toronto, close to bellwoods! Easily the best barbershop I've ever been to in my entire life, and yet, it's so much more than a barbershop. It's like stepping into an old friend's living room. Ellen and Rui have done an exceptional job at creating a cozy and beautiful space with an inclusive environment and vibe. Can't wait for my next cut :)

All I can say is money well spent. Everyone who knows me knows I am hard to please when it comes to finding a hairdresser in Toronto. Toronto hairdresser are too lazy and dont care about their clients. Before Mrs. Marva even started my hair I was planning my next visit. She is soooo dedicated and caring. She is more than a hairdress she is a Stylist. Unuh betta put respect on Mrs. Marva name. I'm glad I found her and could get this experience of letting my guard done when it comes to my hair.
