Torr nålning innebär införande av fina nålar i huden och muskelvävnaden för att minska muskel- och triggerpunktssmärta.

Vilka är riskerna med torr nålning?

Biverkningar är inte vanliga, men kan inkludera blödning eller blåmärken vid nålens införingspunkter. Du kan också uppleva yrsel, dåsighet, illamående och en ökning av smärta under 24-48 timmar efter din behandling. Om du är orolig, be din terapeut att prata med dig om riskerna och biverkningarna innan ditt möte.

Är torr nålning värt det?

Bevis är inte avgörande, men torr nålning tros vara effektiv för att minska mild till måttlig muskelsmärta.

Vad är skillnaden mellan torr nålning och akupunktur?

Akupunktur är en gammal kinesisk medicin som har funnits i århundraden, till skillnad från torr nålning som bara har varit tillgänglig under de senaste åren. Både akupunktur och torrnålning ser tunna nålar införas i huden eller muskeln för att behandla smärta.
