Popped in with no appt on Sat and 5-10 mins later chatting with my fav piercer Evie! I was having 3 small piercings popped in my lobe just above my 2 archaic piercings (done when is 11 and 15). A bit of blue ink later, some mild swearing from me (low pain threshold) and I have a sparkly ear lobe. She also checked on my Helix piercing done a couple of years ago - cheers Evie :) Back again soon i think for a couple more ;) B

Took my daughter to Ben for her 2nd lobe piercing. Would never go anywhere else for a piercing! Urban and Ben are literally the best in Reading. Ben makes you feel at ease and looks after you from the minute he walks down the stairs.

We travelled from Cambridge after reading reviews. Honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. My friend had a dermal by Ben and I had. A conch piercing with Eliza, the most friendly, hygienic and knowledgable piercing studio I have been to - week worth the 2.5 hr drive!

I learned a long time ago that it’s well worth taking the time to drive the extra distance to Urban Piercings in order to have my piercings done properly. Don’t go to a tattoo artist who has learned piercing on a weekend course and pierces every now and then - go to someone who pierces for a living and knows how to do it properly. And whatever you do, don’t let anyone get near you with a nasty, non-sterile piercing gun!

Another painful piercing (well Evie is sticking a needle through my Helix) not once but twice this time. Evie has done all my previous piercings over the last 5ish years, always fun and a good catch up. Did feel a little weird when Evie and a colleague were discussing my tragus (how slim it was) and then she went on tell me she wanted to pierce my rook - no more Evie, no more! ;) Thanks B

I had my septum re-pierced today, and I am so happy!! The person working on reception was lovely and welcoming (sorry I didn’t catch their name), and Eliza who did my piercing was incredible. I saw Ben today, who is ALWAYS such a darling ❤️ , and someone who has become a friend i have a good ol' gossip with while he preps my piercing. He is SO professional, caring and knowledgeable, and really puts me at ease while he is prepping my area to be pierced (today was a third bridge piercing the whole team adored ❤️) 😊. He's a pleasure to work with, and to see my ideas come to life with experience. He has done two of my bridge piercings now, and we have a lot of work planned for the future, which will be a joy to have done! 11/10 to the whole UP team 😘 xxx

An amazing experience, given sound advice on how to take care of my piercings and advice on an existing one, place was spotless with high levels of hygiene demonstrated by many glove changes and plenty of anti bac, just go here if you want a professional piercing experience, it's easy to book online too...

My 10 year old daughters third experience here! She was getting a second pair of earlobe piercings! She has always gone with Eliza who has a fantastic rapport! Made her feel totally relaxed and at ease. Absolutely excellent job, was so quick, sterile and done in 15min. We have already recommended them to multiple mums at school - we will probably bump into a schoolmate soon! Just love that it’s a clean piercing not traumatic, easy to clean and always heals well. They use medical grade titanium and given that other than that she can only wear 18k gold - she’s never had issues. Recommended!

5 stars as always. I had my eighth piercing, a rook, pierced by Ben. He was kind to me and reassuring when I was nervous. This is my sixth piercing with Urban Piercings and I’ve never had an issue, they know exactly what they are doing, they’re all very friendly and knowledgeable, and every piercing I’ve had from there has healed wonderfully. I came in for a jewellery change and this place never disappoints. The choice of jewellery is great, there is something for everyone. I went with a lovely hoop earring for my helix replacement. At the appointment I received advice and recommendations about the jewellery and the change was very professional and hygienic. I was given advice about how to care for my new piercing. 10/10. The lady who helped me find a white gold earring I loved, was so so lovely, friendly, helpful and kind. My cartridge piercing was done by Eliza, who was absolutely amazing, very patient, kind, explained everything and she was incredibly competent, I’m super happy with my piercing! My 8yo daughter was having needle lobe piercing after her piercings 6 months ago done by gun at a high street, had closed following a healed infection. Although the gun had been fine for her, a friend recommended needle piercing as less traumatic to the tissues. The bedside manner of the artist was fantastic, took time and explained everything clearly, really reassuring for her. She did find the needle piercing more painful in the moment, but found the manner of the artist so warm and kind that she said for her next earlobe piercing she would prefer to return here. Evie was absolutely brilliant with my daith piercing; so professional but warm and friendly, explained everything as she went as well as aftercare. I've previously had my flat pierced here too which healed really nicely, I've used other piercers in Reading but definitely think Urban Piercings is the best by far.
