I only get my haircut twice a year, it is a birthday and Christmas treat to myself! Booking a slot online was easy, I prefer this method as I can then look for a slot that suits my busy schedule. I received a warm welcome on arrival, a lovely hair wash followed by that much needed hair cut! The cut was exactly what I asked for and the stylist dried it really nicely. I would definitely recommend and will return, even if it might not be for some time!

Easy to book online and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Stylist listened to what I wanted and looked at the photo and gave me the style I went in for! Very happy.

As usual, a nice welcome and a helping hand with coat and walking frame. Would I like a cup of coffee ? No thank you but a glass of water would be good. Love Jake washing my hair and massaging my scalp. A bit different cut this time and Tracy did it just as I explained. I’m happy .

One of the things I love about going to Orgella is that I know I will come out of the salon looking as good as it is possible to be. It is the only salon I have been to in 62 years of going to a hairdresser every week, that does my hair well enough to last all week. In fact, on one occasion, it had to go a fortnight without attention and it still looked good when I walked in to have it done at the end. This kind of service is fantastic and young Jake is proving to be a chip off the old block (sorry Tracey) and developing skills beautifully. Easingwold is lucky to have such a good salon.

I had my 5 or 6 weekly favourite activity this week when my hair is dyed, washed, cut and blow dried. It is so much fun saying to Tracey that she should surprise me with the colour and do whatever she wants. This can only be done with a hairdresser you trust implicitly, who has impeccable taste and the skill to make your hair look good.

Going to the hairdresser just got better this month. Not only do you have a first class hairdresser in Tracey, but now we have her charming son, Jake, to wash our hair, make coffee and do all the other incidentals that make having your hair done such a pleasure. If you are a good stylist and want to change jobs, you could do a lot worse than come to work at Orgella.

I had 2 ½ hours of unadulterated pleasure when I had my hair coloured, washed, cut and blow dried. Tracey used a colouring technique that was new to me, putting the four colours on that merged with one another to give an overall effect, rather than distinct streaks. The end result is so attractive and elegant that I am going to struggle not to keep looking at myself all the time. It is a delight to have a hairdresser that will do something different, particularly with an older person, rather than repeating the same thing, time and time again. I am very lucky to have her.
