Krista has been cutting my hair for the past year and I adore her work and the calm comfortable environment of Common Place, so whe our AuDHD teenager, who struggles with sensory challenges during haircuts, expressed that he wanted a new haircut, I booked him to see Krista. Not surprising, Krista was so considerate and careful while cutting his hair. She made sure to front load when she was using different tools and techniques and checked in with him to make sure he was comfortable. He left feeling great and actually loving his hairtcut for the very first time. Thank you, Krista!

Great experience as always. Great haircut and colour and they have to have the best sinks in the valley for getting your hair washed in! No more sore neck. Appreciated that she took the time to listen to what I was looking for and then made her suggestions.

I just had my first visit to this salon. Paula was fabulous. I was looking for a change and a smaller salon experience. This was great very cozy feeling and quiet vibes. They are also echo friendly and use plant based products where they can. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my hair and let Paula use her expertise and it turned out beautiful!!! If you're looking to support a local business who is also echo-conscious this is your spot.

I screwed up my booking and came all the way from Denman Island to find I didn't have an appointment, but Paula generously squeezed me in for a bang trim (no charge). She is the best!! Even in a time crunch she is absolutely meticulous.
