I came to the salon with three years of post-chemo therapy growth and it was wild. Robert did a brilliant job of cutting and styling my hair to perfection. I left feeling wonderful and my frizzy, coarse curls were soft, manageable and practically smiling themselves. He is a true curl whisperer.

The staff and space were nice. DO NOT book a curly hair appointment if your hair is wavy/curly, get the regular haircut. Mine is between wavy and curly, I booked a curly cut. The layers and shaping are great, but the styling looked AWFUL because my hair didn't curl enough. It was huge and frizzy but didn't bring out a curl pattern the way I had hoped. I asked the stylist about it but she didn't show me how to shape them with the extra time left in the hour. I would try a regular haircut here but not the curly haircut again.

Flawless service, perfect color. Everyone was really sweet and helpful, and Ena did such a great job—my color turned out exactly how I wanted. The whole visit felt relaxed, easy, and smooth. Trish gave me the best haircut I have ever had in my entire life! People (strangers!) have stopped me on the street to tell me what a great haircut I have! She listens to what I want and works very carefully with me. She is also excellent where color is concerned. I think she is the best hairdresser in all of New York City!

The shop is lovely. I booked with Tetsu after seeing his work on Instagram. His texturing is phenomenal. My hair is super straight, came in with almost shoulder length hair wanting a bixie. First time with my hair and he did wonderful work. I watched him delicately shape my hair by seeing how it fell, a very personal cut, made for me. I was impressed how quickly he finished, it was not rushed, it did not feel hectic at all. It was incredibly relaxing, the music is fantastic for that. I loved the wash after the cut, rinsing the thousand needles a short cut usually unleashes down your back.

I was a first time walk-in, and everyone was super nice and accommodating, especially Abby! It’s also a really nice space. I’m always nervous to try a new salon because not everyone is experienced with 3C hair, and I like to wear it straight and curly (I had a cut and blow out). I was super impressed with Ena and trusted her recommendations. I’m really happy with my cut and will definitely make this my regular salon. I’ve already referred a friend and will be bringing my daughter as well. So glad to be able to support local businesses!

I walked in spontaneously, from out of town, and having wanted to cut my hair and change my style for a while but not knowing where to go since my stylist moved last year. I read the reviews, requested a consultation, and took the plunge! I was not disappointed. Onur spent time talking with me and we came to agreement on the style (a chic chin length bib with slight texturizing). My hair was long, between my shoulders and elbows, so this was a big change! Onur did a great job. I am very happy with the result and wish I hadn’t waited so long. You’ll be in good hands in a welcoming place.
