So I Recently lost my Hairdresser to maternity leave as she Recently had a baby and had been looking for a dreadlocks hairdresser . Things didn't look too good until I went to St Vital Shopping Mall and was walking pass a store named ( Dark ShugarStudio ) And the rest was History . I highly Recommend Dark Shugar If your looking to get your Dreadlocks Maintenance like I did or other Hairstyles Thank You Suzanne , Awesome Job on my dreadlocks Maintenance . I loved getting my mature locs maintained there. So professional, so capable and so personable. I spent my whole appointment laughing and engaging in great conversation. I have a sensitive skull and I don’t know how but Helena was able to tighten my locs without hurting my head. This was a first for me. I have never left a hair salon without pain in my life, have you? lol. I would recommend that Helena get a raise, she is that good.

The atmosphere at Dark Sughar is relaxing and fun. All the chairs were full up so many women trusted them as well as I did. I had not had my dreadlocks maintained for 3.5 months so I had a lot of growth. Hope was so skilled, she finished my hair quickly and I really like it. Well done ladies!

I love my hair. I came in with 6 months of untouched dreads. I was worried that my hair was beyond repair but my Loctian conquered it. Thank you for all you have done. I feel like I have had a boost in my self-confidence because my dreads look nice now.

I booked with Hope to install some dreadlocks and wow, she did a great job! It was my first time coming to the salon for this service and since my hair is super thin, I didn’t know what to expect. Hope did a perfect job and was so skillful, polite and understood my request from the get go. I’ll be back for sure.
