Val worked her magic on my son’s thick, unruly hair. I’ll never get over how considerate she is of his feelings and how sensitive she is to his sensory issues. Like most boys his age, he has to be dragged into the salon, but he always leaves ApPIERances in a great mood.

It is so nice to have a stylist who is consistent with the haircut you want. I told Val about my minor scalp issue and she was very careful during the shampoo. I am enjoying the hand lotion I bought, and decided to give my card club girls each a small bottle.

I’m sorry about an old timers review but told the everyone who stopped by I felt like I was in Floyd’s barber shop in The Andy Griffith show. I’m probably the only elderly aka Boomer woman who has white hair that I wore spiked when my kids were in school but decided to grow out during my later years… Val is THE only one that gets my hair. The girls are sweet they offer water, tea, hot choc, coffee. If a new customer take a look at the beach floor. Another fantastic visit for my two boys! My teen for a perm, and my tween for a cut of his very thick and cowlicky hair. Val is basically a magician and is able to whip their thick and unruly hair into beautiful shape - something no other salon has managed before.
