What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Marq was fabulous as always. He's very patient, describing the chemical process of coloring hair and the possibilities. He wants his customers to maintain the health of their hair above anything else. He'll counsel you to get your hair to its very best. Today with kindness and understanding he explained why a purple hair color wouldn't necessarily be a good choice long term for my hair. Though he could have pockted a few extra bucks for the extra processing it would take to achieve the look, he made it clear my satisfaction after I left the shop and the health of my hair was more important 💜

This is my second visit. The First was installation. This visit was maintenance including color blending w/ highlights, extension removal, and reinstallation. My hair looks amazing. The staff works as a team and takes great care of their clients.

Lorraine was professional, punctual, and really did her best work on my highlights. It was my first time getting any color, let alone blonde. I have been natural for 5 years and have meticulously kept my hair healthy so I was a bit nervous at first but Lorraine and her team explained the process, were gentle, and gave easy-to-follow maintenance tips. Love, love, love this place!!! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the salon super clean. Crissel, Rosey and Kim are the best!! They actually listen and understand what you want and never disappoint. My stylist is Rosey and she is absolutely amazing with color!!!

Everyone was so kind! I can definitely tell that this salon is a community with how friendly everyone is, and Rosey was awesome to have to cut my hair!
