I had the MOST fantastic curly hair appointment today with the absolute gem that is Siobhan Duggan at Cuttlefish Eco Salon in Lewes. From one curly girl to another, Siobhan gets it — the wild days, the good curl days, and the “my hair has a mind of its own” days. The advice, tips, and real-life curl wisdom were amazing. I felt seen, understood, and empowered to actually love and work with my natural curls. My curls are now bouncing, behaving and living their absolute best life. Chaland went out of his way to accomodate me on a busy day today. Always a warm welcome, a great cut and colour/style. An excellent hairdresser I would always highly recommend.

Friendly and professional . I was made to feel relaxed and at home from the start of my experience at the still rooms Lewes . I would highly recommend this beauty salon .

I had an excellent experience with James at the Lewes eco-salon. I was very happy with my haircut. He’s a good chap who put me at my ease and we had a good chat about Christmas plans too. Thanks James. I’ll be back!

Freya is amazing! Can not fault a single thing about her and her ability to do hair. She does everything with a calm, gentle smile at all times. I can have a giggle with her while she’s doing my nano rings, I know they will last for the duration and beyond. They look amazing, feel amazing, are super comfortable and last beautifully. Her ability to do hair up, colour, all types of extension and more is fantastic! I highly recommend Freya!

I have been with Chaland for over 2 years, each time I come in with a picture of what I want and every single time he hits the nail on the head. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. It’s in the best condition it’s ever been in also, a bonus when you dye your hair.

I’ve had my hair cut with Tom at the Brighton cuttlefish for many years. Sadly Tom has moved to pastures new so I nervously went to the Lewes salon for a change and to see James. He did a smashing job with my ‘ladies mullet’. Loving it. Thank you James. I’ll be back in December. Thank you for the Disco recommendation too. Happy customer.

We had an amazing first visit to The Barber Shop Lewes. It was my 7 year oldest first ever haircut and John was fantastic with him (including accommodating our request to help us keep the hair to donate to charity). We had a great experience and no doubt this will be the only place we go for cuts!

The most amazing appointment with Madison, she got my colour absolutely spot on to my inspiration picture! Madison is so efficient and made me feel to cared for and comfortable. I’m obsessed with my new colour, I couldn’t be happier!

Great hair cut and colour as always with Chelsea

A lovely haircut and experience at the Cuttlefish in Lewes. Adam was experienced, sociable and a delight. I'm very pleased with the cut. Eva also did a great head massage. Siobhan cut my hair last time and I was very pleased too. A great Salon and would highly recommend them.

Always love my colour and cut with Challand. A real gem of a salon.

I’m absolutely over the moon with my transformation, when first contacting Laryn she was so welcoming and kind nothing was too much for her she was always available any questions and really helpful and was able to fit me in really quickly which I really appreciated as my hair was in a bad way , the colour and extensions had seen better days , Chelsea was absolutely amazing with my colour and I’m absolutely in shock how well and amazing they did my hair I cannot thank the ladies enough I would highly recommend coming to them for colour , extensions I won’t be going else where thank you x

It is always a delightful experience going to Cuttlefish Lewes. Adam totally gets my hair and cuts it to suit me. The reception staff are very friendly and always attentive when coming in offering a choice of tea/coffee. I love the atmosphere the salon has.

Had my hair done by freya a few times and she stops at nothing to get the look you want, she’s kind and caring and thrives for perfection all of the things you need when trusting somebody with your hair, I recently changed my hair colour too! And she made sure I was happy and helped me with the whole process! 10/10 hair, experience and process
