My massage really helped my neck and shoulders, I felt very relaxed and the scalp massage was amazing. The girls were so helpful and friendly and I loved the honey tea. 🍵 Next time I'm in Cairns I will definitely be making another booking. Only wish you had a retreat in Townsville.

Merrilyn is the best hair dresser in Cairns. I have been going to Merrilyn since before 2015. Occasionally I branched out to try other hairdressers yet none can compare. The cuts I have had (short hair) always keeping growing into a suitable style until a return is necessary. Marilyn is definitely a professional which shows in all aspects of her business. Merrilyn salon is of an excellent standard. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughing. A joy to visit. The costs for services are very reasonable and affordable.

Treatment was first class from the initial calf scan right through to the finale. Scalp scan was fascinating and well informed, my therapist kept me informed with the steps through out the facial process and starting of the headspa and perfect pressure for the massage. The environment is a relaxing sanctuary that makes you not want the treatment to end. But once it does you are greeted with a ginger tea and another informative chat about what products they used and recommendations for you skin or hair. Will return

I highly recommend Avoca to everyone. I had a last minute brow appointment with Sarah - my first since returning to Cairns after moving 3 years ago. I’ve definitely missed coming here as no where else compares. The whole online booking process was smooth and efficient. Helena made my friend and I feel so safe, conformable and welcome. She really cares for each client and there differnt needs while not pressuring her clients buy any products from her. If i wasnt here for a holiday I would 100% come back, you can tell she understands skin on a professional level, afterwards my skin has never felt better. She not only provided an amazing in person experience but she continued her work after we left and engaged with us further to form a suitable and unique skincare routine to follow in the future for our needs.
