Lisa is always amazing! I don’t live in Gateshead anymore but I come to see her especially and I won’t let anyone but her cut my hair or my girls’ hair. She is the best hairdresser I have ever had. The salon is such a lovely place to be and all the staff are friendly. It’s always a pleasure to be at Evergreen. Thank you so much for the excellent service !

Salon was lovely, interior really aesthetic and relaxing. Kelsha was lovely, she took time to sit and listen to what I wanted and recommended things. She took extra time at the end to make sure I liked it and cut extra off for me to make sure I was happy. She showed me ways to style my hair and made me really comfortable. The best salon I've been to in Gateshead/Newcastle and will be coming back.

Ella did a great job, helping me choose the colour, shape and length of my nails which are all great. She also advised me to try builder gel which looks great and is better for my nails.

Sarah is absolutely excellent. I am so pleased with how my colour turned out, it is stunning. She offers great advice on aftercare, & styling & is so lovely every time I visit. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Again another lovely visit. Had a full head of highlights, visit wasn't rushed, had a coffee and a chat and the results are perfect. Exactly what I wanted for a mini pamper session. Absolutely love my hair, will be back again soon xx

Loved my experience here. It was my first time and all the girls were so friendly and welcoming and really kind and sweet to talk to. Nail colour options are incredible and the wax was super thorough and speedy. Will 100% be coming back.

I visited this hair salon for the first time and I’m very happy with the result! The haircut turned out perfect, even better than I imagined. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I felt comfortable right away. The atmosphere in the salon was welcoming, and the whole team made the visit a real pleasure. I’ll definitely be back! If you're looking for a place that truly cares about its clients, I highly recommend it!

Today I had my first visit to this salon. My hair looked terrible and was a challenge. After the visit I already know that I will stay with the guys. Full professionalism, hair looks beautiful. (my husband said the same thing when he saw me and he is always honest) and there is a nice atmosphere there, I felt relaxed. I highly recommend and give 11 out of ten stars. First time customer, mid forties lady with thinking hair, uncoloured for about a year and scattered greys….. I asked for a choppy blunt bob, brunette with subtle lighter strips to enhance a short waved bob…. I was so nervous but wanted a change, Jade and the team at Evergreen were amazing, every part of my first time visiting the salon to leaving feeling like a brand new women (amazing what a cut and colour will do for your confidence) 👸 Couldn’t recommend enough, bringing my sons next month, to the skilled 3rd generation mullet hairdresser showing how it’s done in 2026🙌

Shoutout to Paige for absolutely smashing this. I went to a few different hairdressers asking for this colour and they all told me to lower my expectations because I had leftover orange tones and my natural dark hair. But Paige was so patient and genuinely cared about getting it right. You can really tell she puts her whole heart into what she does. I’m so happy with the result! Definitely coming back. Worth every penny and the service is top-notch.
