It’s always an incredible experience getting my hair done by David. I know he’s the only person that truly understands my hair and I’m always extremely happy with the results. He is the best of the best and you cannot go wrong with him. I’ve been his client for over 10 years and I will never stop being his client. I live in Vancouver now but travel to Calgary at least twice a year to see family and get my hair done by David. The hot towel on the neck is such a relaxing feature at this new location. Thanks David, can’t wait for the next cut and colour!

Sophia did an amazing job on the haircut, it was easy to explain and get into. On the other hand Charles messed up my father’s hair dye . The colour was not even leaving one side burn coloured and the other side burn untouched. There is a lack of professionalism and overcharged. Great job to Sophia though.

She truly pays attention to the details—no marks on my face after coloring, the dye always matches my hair perfectly, and the haircut is consistently on point. My son is really happy with his haircut. He had chosen a photo of what he was hoping for, and Jordyn was able to adapt it to perfectly suit his hair type and colour. Even though it’s a bit of a drive for us, we prefer Hair Tropics because the staff are always very skilled, friendly, and helpful, and my kids love being able to play video games during their haircut.

Great! Ella was helpful with advice on how to manage my daughter's hair. She did exactly what my daughter (who is 7) asked for, and even added some sparkle spray to her hair, which my daughter was thrilled about. We also added a colour braid, and it was very well applied.

Great experience at Mister Barber on Deerfoot Meadows in Calgary. Mark, the owner and barber, provides outstanding personalized service without the sometimes fake decorum of the larger barber chains—all at a very reasonable price. What really impressed me was the attention to detail: he even timed my haircut to fit perfectly with my next appointment. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Cowboy Town!

We are new to SE Calgary so it was our first time here. Ella was great! Very personable and easy to chat with. Even my son had a few words with her (which he never does; he’s so shy!). It was my 3yr olds 5th haircut of his life so we’re still getting to know his cowlicks and parts; Ella took the time to educate me on hair lengths and styles that would work best for him. She did a wonderful job blending his hair (best he’s had ever!) and he loved having spiked hair “like a dinosaur.” We will be back! Thank you, Ella!

Went here for my baby’s haircut. They were great with kids. Tried so many kids barber shop in calgary and this is the only place that my baby actually did not cry while getting his haircut. A little far from our place but definitely coming back.

One of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of having highlights done by! She does them so nice and thin and well blended like I like them! So natural, they grow out beautifully. Her new home salon is bright, comfy and inviting. Would highly recommend Larissa for her talent with colour!

It was my first time having my hair done by Larissa, and she was fantastic. She asked me to send a picture of my current hairstyle and also asked me to send photos of hairstyles that inspired me. She really took the time to talk about what I wanted before she started working on my hair. I came away really pleased wirh my cutand color.

AMAZING! Abby was extremely patient and helpful with my curly girl who has a sensitive scalp. We had a bad experience at a different salon the day before and the ladies at Hair Tropics completely turned it around for us. They made her feel comfortable and offered glitter and color ad ins, which she loved. I also really appreciated that you guys have inclusive books on the shelf. Kaitlyn was super friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!
