Evan was calming and reassuring to my very nervous 5 year old. Ive tried a few 'kid friendly' places and this was by far the best. I didnt feel rushed and he really took his time and had amazing patience. My son didnt want scissors but Evan still managed to give him a good cut with the clippers all over. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Evan!

In the 54 years I have been having my hair cut, Evan is the best barber ever. If he just got rid of that noisy exhaust on his car he would be a top bloke.

Great bunch of barbers. Made my 6year old feel very welcome, non stop chat from the barber, making him feel welcome and heard. Lovely hair cut, giving great advice and giving the hair cut my son wanted. 100%recommend

It wasn’t just a haircut, it was an act of compassion, patience, and deep understanding. Where others might see a “difficult moment,” the barbers saw a child doing their best — and responded with grace, not frustration. They moved gently and didn’t rush the process. Their focus wasn’t just on the haircut, but on making the child feel safe, respected, and cared. Well done!!!

We booked in with Vicki as Jamie wasnt available and she was really helpful when we explained what my son wanted and it didn't disappoint! My son is really happy with another great haircut! The other members of staff were friendly offering coffee while I waited and explained a treatment they were doing - the full monte - one to book my husband in for in the future! You won't be disappointed booking in with Vicki and the Barber Lounge! Thank you, we will be back soon!

My 7 year old son had the junior barber cut his hair on 27/05/2025. I didn't grab his name. He was amazing with him and I can honestly say probably one of the best cuts he's had. He hates getting his haircut due to sensitivity of noice and touch. However, the barber talked to him constantly and really put him at ease. I will be back again!

Barber lounge is the only place i go to take my son for his hair cut. He has naturally curly hair and the guys here are fantastic with his hair always happy with the results. They listen to what my son asks for and he gets exactly that. All the guys are very friendly and approachable as well as very professional and experienced in their trade. Wont go anywhere else but the barber lounge.

It's always the very best of experiences and far more than a hair cut when I visit Rhydian and his extremely attentive crew. Alex cuts my hair to the highest standard and with so much detail and I'll always book for a little extra - beard trim, hot towels, ear waxing and shave tick those boxes.....went the extra mile today with a 'full monty' and my face feels amazing.....I can't recommend this barber enough.....so friendly, always welcoming, the highest of standards and great coffee......take the plunge!!
