This was my first visit to Mak’s and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. Ritu was absolutely WONDERFUL and fully exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say that even after 20+ years of getting blonde highlights and working with a ton of stylists during those years, she was the most thorough and meticulous stylist I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail was amazing, and she took extra care to make sure everything was just like I wanted. Excited to have finally found my “go to” stylist in Cumming!

Terrelle took his time with me & recommended a fabulous color and highlights. When it was all completed, I’ve never been so happy with a color/highlight in my entire life!! Great experience with the stylist; however, the manager/owner would not allow her to put a toner on my highlights. I told the manager I was going to buy a toner and put that on myself because that IS what I wanted. I have used toners before and toners do not damage the hair. The manager talked to me like I was dumb about chemicals.

Piper did an amazing job!!! I came in to have my hair corrected from highlights done at a salon that left me with a brassy (almost orange) tint at my roots. She listened to what I was wanting and executed it perfectly!!! I’ve learned my lesson not to “try somewhere new”.

Ritu is amazing! An absolute miracle worker. I will always trust her with my hair :) this was my third time doing my hair with Ritu, and she has gotten it right every time. About 3 weeks ago, I went to the salon and got full highlights done by her. They were absolutely beautiful. However, this week, I decided I myself was going to bleach my hair, which was a horrible idea. Ritu patiently fixed my hair and made it look good as new!

I had a balayage done by Ritu and Angel... I absolutely loved them! They both did an amazing job on my hair. It was just what I wanted! I was pressed for time so they helped each other to get me out on time. Ritu gives the best scalp massages when washing your hair! Definitely coming back!

Oh wow, walk-in to Lakeyia on a Saturday for all over blond highlights and she completely knocked it out of the park! Incredibly talented and great conversation too. I now have my favorite salon and stylist in Alpharetta!
