Wat kan ik verwachten tijdens een draadbehandeling?

Tijdens een draadbehandeling zal je therapeut gedraaide draden gebruiken om enkele haren van de wortel te plukken. Zodra het inrijgen is voltooid, kan je therapeut een verkoelende gel (zoals aloë vera) op het behandelde gebied aanbrengen om je huid te kalmeren.

Hoe vaak moet je draadsnijden?

Het hangt af van de groeisnelheid van je haar: de meeste mensen laten hun benen elke 4 weken doen en hun wenkbrauwen elke 2-4 weken.

Waarin verschilt draadsnijden van andere ontharingsmethoden?

In tegenstelling tot andere ontharingsmethoden, gebruikt draadsnijden een enkele gedraaide streng katoen om ongewenst haar te verwijderen. Zowel draadsnijden als pincet zijn vrij van chemicaliën en werken door zich op enkele haren te richten, maar harsen en epileren kunnen meerdere haren in één keer verwijderen. Inrijgen, harsen, pincet en epileren verwijderen al het haar vanaf de wortel, maar het zal binnen 2-4 weken weer groeien. Laserontharing is de enige permanente ontharingsmethode.

Wat is threading en hoe werkt het?

Threading is een ontharingstechniek die meestal wordt gebruikt om ongewenst wenkbrauwhaar te verwijderen. Het is vrij van chemicaliën en je therapeut gebruikt gedraaide draden om enkele haren van de wortel te plukken.

Hoe lang duurt het draadsnijden?

Tussen de 2 en 4 weken, afhankelijk van je natuurlijke haargroeisnelheid.

Is draadsnijden beter dan waxen?

Het is niet aan ons om te zeggen, maar veel therapeuten geven er de voorkeur aan, omdat het hen in staat stelt om precies te zijn zonder de huid te beschadigen. Het betekent ook dat er geen gevaar is voor het dubbel dompelen van wax tussen klanten, en het kan kortere haren verwijderen waar wax niet volledig grip op heeft, wat betekent dat je wenkbrauwen langer mooi gevormd blijven.
