Als je een gevoelige huid of allergieën hebt, neem dan contact op met je arts of een ervaren dermatoloog om te zien of het veilig voor je is om een tatoeage te laten zetten. Mensen met een gevoelige huid hebben meer kans op roodheid en jeuk en mensen met rosacea, psoriasis of eczeem lopen een groter risico op een bijwerking. Laat geen tatoeage zetten als je ziek bent of als je immuunsysteem verzwakt is.

Hoe verzorg ik een nieuwe tatoeage?

De nazorg varieert tussen tatoeagestudio's, dus volg het advies van je tatoeëerder tot op de letter op. Je moet je nieuwe tatoeage waarschijnlijk de eerste 2-5 uur bedekken en vervolgens zorgvuldig wassen met milde zeep en lauw water voordat je er een dunne laag ongeparfumeerde vochtinbrengende crème op aanbrengt.
