Hoe werkt het verwijderen van tatoeages?

Tatoeages worden gemaakt door inktdeeltjes met een naald in de diepe lagen van de huid in te brengen en vast te houden. Wanneer speciaal laserlicht naar het tatoeagegebied wordt geleid, breekt het de originele inktdeeltjes binnen een paar minuten veilig af. Deze worden tien keer veilig in de bloedbaan opgenomen en uit het lichaam verwijderd. Het verwijderen van tatoeages is een geleidelijk proces: het zal waarschijnlijk meerdere sessies duren om een tatoeage volledig te verwijderen.

Hoeveel sessies zijn er nodig voor een tatoeageverwijdering?

Het varieert en is afhankelijk van de leeftijd van de tatoeage, het type, de grootte, de kleur en de locatie. Er zijn 6-8 behandelingen voor het verwijderen van tatoeages nodig om een tatoeage volledig te verwijderen, maar er kan meer voor nodig zijn.

U kunt ook oppervlakkige blaarvorming en korstvorming, zwelling, jeuk en enig ongemak ervaren. Als je korstjes of blaren kiest, kun je het risico op infectie vergroten. Sommige mensen ervaren permanente littekens en tijdelijk donkerder of lichter worden van de kleur van hun huid. Kan alle tatoeage-inkt worden verwijderd?
