Het is een procedure om een pruik professioneel op je hoofd te passen. Afhankelijk van je haarlengte en -type en het type pruik dat je kiest, worden verschillende technieken gebruikt.

Hoeveel u betaalt voor een pruikinstallatie hangt af van het type pruik en het installatieproces dat u kiest. Verwacht te betalen tussen BBD 50 en BBD 200.

Welke soorten pruiken kunnen worden geïnstalleerd?

Lace front (frontale) pruiken, full-lace pruiken en 360 pruiken.

Hoe verloopt het installeren van een pruik?

De installatie van je pruik wordt bepaald door de lengte, textuur en dikte van je haar, de pruik die je kiest en de installatietechniek die je kiest. Volledige veters, kanten voorkant en 360 pruiken vereisen meestal dat je haar absoluut plat is voordat de pruik wordt aangebracht; dit wordt bereikt door je haar in cornrows te vlechten of door een pruikenpet te dragen. Vervolgens wordt een speciale kleefstof (tape of lijm) op de buitenste omtrek van je haar aangebracht (zodat er geen lijm in je eigen haar terechtkomt), de pruik op je hoofd bevestigd en op zijn plaats bevestigd met clips om de lijm te laten hechten. Overtollig kant wordt afgeknipt en make-up kan al dan niet worden gebruikt om de kanten rand met je huid te laten mengen om een natuurlijk ogende afwerking te creëren. Als je ervoor hebt gekozen om je pruik in te naaien, dan verwissel je het kleefstadium om de pruik op zijn plaats te stikken.

Zijn er risico's of bijwerkingen verbonden aan de installatie van de pruik?

Ja. Risico's zijn verstopte poriën, allergische reacties, jeuk en haaruitval. U moet ten minste 24 uur voor de installatie van uw pruik een pleistertest uitvoeren om te controleren of u allergisch bent voor een van de ingrediënten in de lijm en alle andere gebruikte componenten.
