Wat is typisch inbegrepen in een pedicure?

Traditioneel begint een pedicure met het baden van je voeten in warm water om de huid te verzachten. Een exfoliërende voetmassage wordt vervolgens gebruikt om dode huid te verwijderen, voordat de teennagels worden getrimd en gevormd. Sommige pedicure zullen je voeten en onderbenen masseren om ontspanning te bevorderen voordat je een vochtinbrengende crème, olie of wrap aanbrengt.

De behandeling eindigt met het aanbrengen van nagellak – in uw kleurkeuze – op uw teennagels. Dermatologen raden het snijden van nagelriemen af, omdat dit tot infecties kan leiden, dus vraag je pedicure om je nagelriemen schoon te maken, maar niet te snijden.

Hoe lang gaat een pedicure mee?

Pedicures die traditionele nagellak gebruiken, moeten ongeveer een week meegaan; degenen die gel- of schellaklak gebruiken, gaan meestal 2-3 weken mee.
