Wat is LED-lichttherapie?

LED-lichttherapie is een niet-invasieve huidverzorgingsbehandeling die weinig licht gebruikt om verschillende huidproblemen te behandelen, zoals ontstekingen, acne of rimpels.

Hoe werkt LED-lichttherapie?

Licht wordt aangebracht op de gebieden van de huid die worden behandeld, hetzij door een gezichtsmasker dat u draagt, hetzij door een handapparaat dat door uw dermatoloog wordt gebruikt. Afhankelijk van het type behandeling zal het licht de collageenproductie in je huid verhogen of bacteriën verminderen die acne veroorzaken.

Wat zijn de voordelen van LED-lichttherapie?

De voordelen zijn afhankelijk van het type LED-lichttherapie dat je krijgt. Rood licht verhoogt je collageenproductie om je huid er jeugdig en soepel uit te laten zien, terwijl blauw licht bacteriën in je huid elimineert die acne veroorzaken. Sommige behandelingen combineren beide voor het beste resultaat.

Is LED-lichttherapie veilig?

LED-lichttherapie is over het algemeen veilig voor alle huidtypes, mits uitgevoerd door een gekwalificeerde dermatoloog. Zorg ervoor dat je de oogbescherming draagt die je tijdens je behandeling krijgt. Als je zwanger bent, borstvoeding geeft of een actieve huidaandoening hebt, neem dan contact op met je dermatoloog om er zeker van te zijn dat de behandeling geschikt voor je is.

Hoe lang duurt het om resultaten van LED-lichttherapie te zien?
