I've been to at least 10 different Japanese hair salons in Singapore over the years but I would say only Key's left a superb impression. It isn't luxurious or swanky like many of the Jap salons in SG. It had a very down-to-earth, friendly vibes that made the experience positive from the moment I entered the salon. Best thing was the outstanding job by Chika san. I had a haircut, colour and smoothing treatment. The haircut turned out better than expected. And the hair colour was a pretty but subtle ash brown, which was exactly what i had wanted (but couldn't get at other salons). So happy!

Awesome! Chika is very gentle and attentive, patient and skilful. Gave me the cut I wanted and recommended me suitable hair colour. Head massage was very relaxing and fell asleep.

Came back to Sankakkei for the 2nd time for haircut with Livia! Service was great as usual and Livia was able to advise me on cut and treatment based on my hair needs ☻ Livia gave a great head massage during the treatment and was sweet enough to style my hair with curling iron after the haircut ♡

Excellent service overall. Celeste is attentive, understanding, listens closely and advises thoughtfully. The whole experience is very pleasant, including the use of botanicals / aromatherapy, head and neck massage, and music.

I had a relaxing experience. Loved the minimal decor of the salon and the little refreshments. Chika was kind and attentive, and so gentle during the head massage and hairdrying. I'm glad she could accommodate my short hairstyle with only a description of what I wanted it to look like. I love my new hairstyle.
