Highly recommend Dylan! My hair was in the worst, over-processed state that it had been in decades, as I recently left my stylist back home to come to Toronto. Dylan took the time to talk to me, thoroughly assess the damage, discuss options, but also was willing to let me make the decision. As I’ve been coloring my hair for decades, I knew I needed to listen to him and it turned out so lovely! He also taught me how to use a product (that he’s doesn’t sell) to help repair. And the blow-out was so good! His building is undergoing some issues but don’t let that dissuade you! 👍👍

That level of detail, skill and intention is rare. His creativity, professionalism and consistency make him one of the best barbers in Toronto, if not the best. I had a wonderful experience with Eclat! I was due to go to a wedding of a family member and wanted to look my best. The team at Eclat did a wonderful job! Both the makeup and hair were exactly what I was going for! I felt so beautiful and confident the whole night! There was much attention to detail, and the team made me feel right at home, offering drinks and even the opportunity to set the music playlist in the studio! If I ever have another formal event again while visiting Toronto, I will definitely be sure to book Eclat again!

Wonderful experience from arrival to departure. My stylist was friendly, professional and provided a great blowout. Craig, the manager, was very helpful - even taking time out to provide me with some excellent local restaurant recommendations (to dive as a local might). All this from a hair appt made in a hurry while visiting Toronto for biz and personal time. Could not recommend this place more highly!

I'd go to the moon if that's where Ellen set up shop, thankfully, The Borough Project is right here in Toronto, close to bellwoods! Easily the best barbershop I've ever been to in my entire life, and yet, it's so much more than a barbershop. It's like stepping into an old friend's living room. Ellen and Rui have done an exceptional job at creating a cozy and beautiful space with an inclusive environment and vibe. Can't wait for my next cut :)

All I can say is money well spent. Everyone who knows me knows I am hard to please when it comes to finding a hairdresser in Toronto. Toronto hairdresser are too lazy and dont care about their clients. Before Mrs. Marva even started my hair I was planning my next visit. She is soooo dedicated and caring.
