I needed extensions for the first time, with an aim to thicken out my thinning hair and maybe add a bit of length. I can't find the words to explain just how happy I am with the whole experience and moreover the results. Everyone is very professional and helpful when you make your enquiry. It was steph who installed my 20" curly hair and wow...just WOW!!!!! I haven't been this happy with my hair in such a long time and it's given me some of my confidence back. I would 1000000% recommend steph

Really great service at skins and needles. Partner had his first haircut in 15 years and was very anxious, but he was well looked after. Barber was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Will definitely be back!

Visited today salon is lovely air con in this heat wave a bonus . Anthony is very good at his job I get lots of comments on my hair he has guided me through transitioning to my natural grey hair he gives you lots of tips and advice he can work wonders . Thank you

I went for my first curly cut in about 2 years and I was honestly quite nervous because I rarely trust anyone with my hair, but I had such an amazing experience! Philomena was so lovely and made me feel completely comfortable from the start. We talked the whole time and i just felt so welcomed! My curls were treated with so much care and attention, and I’m so happy with the result. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Will never have anything bad to say about Phil, Nadia or KiKi. They are all angels. They just make u feel right at home. Awesome ladies and they take pride in there work. Highly recommend. Give them a shout at least once and your would see what I mean.

Moved to Middlesbrough last year and fortunately found a great barber, Danny is class. Great haircuts, chat, and very good value for the quality you receive. You need to look no further than Skins & Needles if you're after a new barber shop in the area.

Best place to go for a haircut in middlesbrough, booked in for the weekend ready package with Laura, brilliant laugh and about as relaxing as it gets, nearly fell asleep at one point under the warm towel and the cherry on top of the cake, there was a cold beer waiting for me after the towel was lifted . You can tell she really loves what she does and it’s very very good at it, left looking like a new man... definitely won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

I hadn’t had my hair cut in a very long time due to nobody knowing how to handle my curly hair. However Philomena handled it with ease I can’t thank her enough. 110% recommend, such a nice inviting environment too!
