Losing your hair due to chemotherapy is incredibly difficult and traumatic for a woman. I visited Mixology today wearing a "doek" with my 3 human hair wigs I do not wear because it looks and feels fake, so I rather wear a "doek". I was welcomed and treated like a normal person - as if I had my own hair. We brainstormed my wigs and cut and styled one of them for me to take home - which I am now able to wear feeling more myself. Going forward my wigs will be washed, styled etc by these 2 awesome girls! And when my hair grows back Mixology will celebrate every mm of growth with me. Love Mixology!

Anthea is so friendly, calm, accommodating and was the first hairstylist who respects natural hair. She combed gently and did not rip the comb through my hair. I left with silky smooth, healthy hair and had a great experience!

Stellies Chop Shop is where bad hair days go to die. Chane, the owner and stylist, is part hair genius, part stand-up comedian and part wonderful human being. I walked in looking like a before photo and left ready for a shampoo commercial. Great vibes, killer cuts, and enough laughs to make you forget your ex’s bad haircut advice. Book early as Chane’s calendar fills up faster than your regret after a DIY trim

As always my appointment serves as a haircut and a mini spa date. From ALWAYS being greeted by the most friendly bunch of people and not just greeted, but a real: its good to see you again, to a beautiful wash/ head massage...to Chloë being as awesome and professional as always, allowing me to just sit in comfortable safe friendly silence while she does her magic with the scissors!! Chloë is awesome. All the staff is so very friendly and polite. Beautiful spot, cozy and clean. Chloë reads a room well. I was very tired today and whilst she was cutting my hair i just closed my eyes for a few minutes...and she left me in beautiful silence and did an amazing job cutting my hair.... Thank you Chloë!

Absolutely loved my experience here and Ilanie was just fabulous as always! Extremely happy with my hair (no one cuts it like Ilanie does!) and such a lovely little studio. Will be back 1000%.

I had an amazing experience during my first visit to Mixology Hair Studio! From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated with such friendliness and professionalism by Saunelle, the salon owner. I booked a full balayage/cut package with Ilanie and after hours of her amazing hard work, I am exceptionally pleased with my results! Ilanie clearly knows what she is doing and truly an expert at her craft. The salon uses quality products and the wonderful head massage was a bonus. Above all else, Mixology is a place that makes you feel at ease and at home -- would highly recommend!
