Had the loveliest experience getting a full head of colour and a fresh cut and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! The colour came out rich and even, exactly what I envisioned (if not better), and the cut gave my hair the movement and shape it had been sorely missing. The stylists were not only incredibly skilled but also warm, attentive, and genuinely listened to what I wanted. It’s rare to walk out of a salon feeling both relaxed and like you’ve just stepped into your best self but that’s exactly what happened here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a little magic

This was my first appointment with Gemma after a consultation in the summer. I had a Crown Treatment with a cut and I left the salon feeling 100% satisfied. Gemma was really attentive to my hair, brilliant at explaining every step of the process and took time when styling to listen and offer tips on how I can maintain and replicate the style at home. I have booked my next appointment already. I would definitely recommend Gemma to other people with curly, textured and/or afro hair.

Outstanding! Truly, I have never experienced such attention to detail at a hairdressing appointment. Eloise took the time to talk to me carefully again, even though she had previously spent a long time in my pre-appointment consultation. The colour, cut and style was carefully considered to fit all my requirements and to feed into a long term plan for my hair. A fantastic first appointment and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eloise.

Grace was amazing! I cam in for an emergency hair appointment for my wedding. She came in early and fitted me in, fixed some previous bad work and left me feeling like a bride again! I cannot recommend enough! X

I can't say enough good things about my experience! Finding a stylist who truly understands curly hair can be tough, but this appointment was a game-changer. Gemma was knowledgeable about curl patterns, took the time to shape my curls in a way that suits my face and really put me at ease as I hadn’t had my hair cut professionally in years! My curls have never looked or felt better—defined, bouncy, and healthy. I finally feel like my hair is being cared for the way it deserves. Highly recommend for anyone with curls!

Every time I get my hair cut I've always been to different places because I've not been happy with how they've cut my hair or the experience overall this was my first time visiting david john hair company and I will definitely come back great staff a very friendly environment and an amazing hair cut! My first curly cut ever and the first time in 8 years since having my hair cut at all. I was extremely nervous, however Éloise was amazing at making me feel more comfortable and she did an incredible job on my hair! I have never been this happy with my hair and I am extremely grateful! My curls were so unmanageable before and now I feel like I can do so much more with my hair. I cannot wait for my next appointment!

Lovely first visit to this salon. It is very relaxing. From the initial consultation Grace gave her recommendations and throughout the process explained what she was doing to my hair and why. Very happy with end result and will definitely visit again.

Honestly, this is the best experience I have ever had at a hairdressers. It has always been a process I have dreaded after years of going to people that do not understand curly hair. It was so refreshing to be met by Gemma who was super friendly and professional and clearly had a wealth of knowledge about curly hair.
