Had the pleasure to book in advance with Zoey Mathers in lead up to my 21st birthday celebration. I first had a consultation of a patch test where this knew which hairstyle I exactly wanted as it was my first time going permanent. I went for a balayage ordinary rinse, cut and blow dry applying a full head of fine sun-kiss babylights and toner for finish. The brunette to blonde dye from face and half through the hair was all over (roots to tips) to block out the colour from underneath (developing and processing using foils to formulate the shimmering shades and framing effect).Amazing outcome!😍

First time visiting this salon, I was made tp feel very welcome. The head massage was fabulous. Love my haircut.

Jamie is a fantastic hairdresser, he's really nice and very accommodating. He listens to what you want and talks you through the process. I'm very happy with my hair and would highly recommend 😁.

Today I had my first visit to this salon. My hair looked terrible and was a challenge. After the visit I already know that I will stay with the guys. Full professionalism, hair looks beautiful. (my husband said the same thing when he saw me and he is always honest) and there is a nice atmosphere there, I felt relaxed. I highly recommend and give 11 out of ten stars. I had an amazing experience at Salon 38! I came in for a keratin straightening treatment and could not be happier with the results. My hair feels smooth, healthy, and so easy to manage. A huge thank you to Mike Taylor and Rachel for making the whole process so enjoyable. They were professional, friendly, and really took the time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable throughout. The atmosphere in the salon was welcoming and relaxing, and I left feeling completely refreshed.

Absolutely mint people at salon 38 and wouldn't have anyone else do my hair. I came from hetton via bus and uber as I'm a client of Taylors from when she was at Houghton and will never go elsewhere.
