First time with James today for a cut and finish, and it was the first time I’ve ever felt like I’ve actually had a proper consultation and had my hair done how I want it to be done! James talked me through all of the process and gave me lots of tips to try at home! He is clearly very passionate about hair and I felt in safe hands! Thank you James and see you again soon!

My first haircut here and I don’t think I want to ever go anywhere else now. Nathaniel is so nice and friendly, he did a proper consultation about what I wanted, has cut it exactly as I asked, but using his knowledge to make it look it’s best. I only went for a trim and to get my fringe cut back in but it’s been cut so well! He clearly knows exactly what he’s talking about and takes pride in his work. A very nice coffee and a biscuit too which is a lovely touch ☺️

Fantastic service provided by Ellie! My hair was in real need of freshening up as it qaslooking really washed out and dull, but Ellie completely transformed it and it now looks absolutely fab!! So happy, 10/10 would highly recommend! 😀

So glad I tried this place! I find it difficult to find a salon that doesn't make me feel out-of-place or overwhelmed by noise, lights, people and smells (I'm neurodivergent), but Grays gives a sense of space that feels safe and inclusive. Nikkie has cut and styled my hair twice now, and I've loved it both times. Always great nattering about how ace dogs are, too! I'll definitely be back.

I want to share how impressed I was after visiting this salon. I really liked the head stylist — he not only listened carefully to what I wanted but also clearly explained everything about my hair’s condition. Instead of going ahead with the perm, he honestly advised me to wait six months and focus on hair care. To me, this showed he truly loves what he does and cares more about great results than just making money. That kind of honesty is rare, and I’m so happy I found a stylist like this. I’ll definitely come back for a haircut. Thank you!🥰

I have been Paola’s customer for a number of years and she always make me hair look great! She is also incredibly friendly and attentive, I highly recommend!

First time in about 10 years I got up the courage to go and get my hair cut and my friend came with me. I do suffer from a couple of mental problems. Lucy was so understanding about my support bear Seb. Their was no extra chit-chat. Lucy had me a ease by telling me what she was doing. If I ever feel the need to have my hair cut again I know I can trust Lucy. Thank you.
