My experience at this Salon with James was amazing. As soon as I walked in, James greeted me (shook my hand) and introduced himself. He took me to his chair and listened to me as I told him the issues I have with my hair, James had some great ideas and I felt one hundred percent comfortable letting him do his thing. The head massage during hair washing was amazing especially the hot stones! It was actually the first time in a long time I came out of a hairdressers feeling amazing. James was awesome! I have made another appointment in February “Can't wait."

I have fine hair that sits very flat, and was also very undecided about what was best to do colour wise for my greying hair. I left with a hair that had life again and I'm looking forward to coming back for colour.

I have been going to Chique for over three years. I have always found the team warm, friendly and welcoming. I have my haircut every six weeks with a colour two/three monthly and I have always been extremely pleased with both the colour and cut. Pip (my hairdresser) is professional and will always discuss my needs and give her honest opinion and suggestions. I am completely happy to leave my hair in her very capable hands and would highly recommend Pip and Chique..

Pip has been cutting my hair for a few years now. As a woman in her fifties who is slowly turning grey Pip has worked with me to find a colour way which minimises the appearance of the grey and always combines that with a great cut. Would be lost without her looking after my locks.

This salon is my new favourite place. You walk in to a welcoming friendly salon with a lovely vibe. Consultations are good and thorough making sure the client and stylist are on a good understanding. James … well he knows hair and how to make it look it’s best. Thank you so so much James and all at James Boswell Hair Design.

I went not knowing that I just wanted a different look. The first visit to a new hair salon is quite stressful- I’ve had stylists criticise first and then suggest changes. Michelle and Jackie were fabulous. Michelle listened to my ideas and came up with a complete new look. I am thrilled with my new colour and cut. As I was sat there waiting for the foils and toner to develop, a 3-4 clients came in and they all left with brilliant hair and smiles on their faces. Some of these clients were going through really hard times, but both ladies worked their magic. One lady comes each week. 😊
